Re: SOG/GOG
Keller is a bust as a starting pitcher. However, I think his career can be salvageable as a back end reliever. His fastball was consistently his mid to upper 90’s last night. Move him to the 7th or 8th inning guy.
Wilson and Thompson could both be effective long or middle relievers, neither should be starting.
Staters should be Quintana, Peter’s, Crowe, DeJong and Brubaker.
Relievers: Thompson, Wilson, Alldred, Banda, Keller, Stratton, Bednar, and Contreras. Hembree, and Underwood Jr. are not effective at all in the pen, and should just be released.
Indy has a couple lefties in their pen having really good seasons. McGough, and Vireax I would love if the Pirates gave them a shot on the big club. Some moves would have to be made on the 40 man, in order for that to happen. I think all you have to do is DFA Hembree and Underwood.
There are enough good arms in this organization to be competitive, the roles and roster spots is just completely mismanaged IMHO.
Contreras is in AAA as well, I thought he pitched well for the Pirates, and he looks to have a bright future.
The offense is a totally different story, our best bet is Reynolds catching fire, Hayes, Vogelbach, and Gamel playing as they have been and someone in the lower half of the lineup to start contributing more consistently. There are too many automatic outs in this lineup.
I see no help at this point from anyone in the minors providing a boost to the big league club.

Re: SOG/GOG
My vote for SOG is Thompson
Honorable mention to Vogelbach
Shelton is going to have to find a number 5 hitter to protect Vogelbach, Tsutsugo is not a 5 hole hitter.

Re: SOG/GOG
SOG 5/15 vs Reds
Quintana
Lowers his ERA to 2.19 on the season
If we could give GOG vote for a win it would have to be the entire offense.
This lower half of the lineup is almost laughable. I never thought it would’ve possible, but I yearn for Newman to get back in the lineup.
