A Few Words
Sorry I got a late start this season, but it is my hope to catch up in the next few days. All the conference pre-season polls are now available for anybody who wishes to do a lot of reading. Notice the three teams from the former Great Northwest Conference, who are now affiliate members of the LSC. A lot of old faces are highly ranked, but there are a few newcomers near or at the top of the heap. Looking forward to another Division II football season. I hope to be with all of you my faithful viewers right up to the national championship game in December. As always, I will be placing emphasis on the PSAC, but ample attention will be paid to the action all around the country.

The Best PSAC games in the First Week
Charleston at Gannon--Have a feeling about this game
Bentley at West Chester--The Golden Rams will be looking for some payback after last year's loss to Bentley.
Kutztown at Assumption of the Northeast 10--This should be a very competitive game. Nationally ranked KU as visitor against always tough Assumption
Wayne State at SRU. SRU was hard pressed to defeat this team last year out in Michigan. Should be a good one!

Visiting Pace surprised East Stroudsburg by a score of 31--16
Gannon ran over Charleston 47--13
St. Anselm knocked of Millersville 28--10
Wheeling won over Seton Hill by a score of 25--11.
Elsewhere unranked Ashland of the GMAC upset #11 Notre Dame of the Mountain East 31--11
