SR! Shepherd 30 Kutztown 28. The Rams pulled another rabbit out of the hat in the last second!

SR2 Valdosta State 41 Bowie State 26 much closer than many anticipated!

SR3 Ferris State 41 Northwest Missouri State 20 Pretty much as expected, but just a tad more one-sided than Husky thought it would be.

SR4 Colorado School of Mines 34 Angelo State 26 Closer than expected.

Down to the four surviving teams. In the semifinals, Shepherd will take on Valdosta State, and Colorado School of Mines will have the unenviable task of meeting Ferris State. Husky already knows who he is picking to win in the semis, but he will keep it under his hat for a while. BTW, Husky picked three of the QF games correctly, He missed on the Kutztown--Shepherd by just a few seconds, Husky's record now advances to 16--8.

Husky will come out and say right now that Valdosta State and Ferris State will win these two games. Both the Blazers and the Bulldogs have far too much overall talent for the "Diggers" and the Rams respectively. More later.
