There is not really a whole lot to say about the Div II final, except to say Husky thinks it will be won by Ferris state. The Bulldogs have waltzed through the playoffs, and Husky does not see even Valdosta State stopping FSU winning it all. Some more commentary later on perhaps. I will say that the PSAC once again experienced an all too often recurring fate once reaching the national semis. That is a topic for discussion at another time and place. The game will be televised on ESPNU, and it is a night game this coming Saturday with a 7 PM starting time. Incidentally, Husky did pick both semifinals correctly to add two more correct picks to his total s of 18--8. One more game to go. This is the best playoff totals for picks Husky has ever accumulated. A lot of luck involved. :D See you all Saturday evening. Don't forget it is ESPNU, not one of the other ESPN channels. Be well.

End of Story

So that is how it ended Ferris State wins it all, which is no great surprise. How do ou stop a team who has a Div I lacrosse player, who is athletic enough to become a starting QB on a Div II national championship team along with such an awesome supporting cast? Hope you all noticed that massive, efficient offensive line of the Bulldogs. They simply seemed to say: "This is what we are going to do! Stop us if you can!" The game went as Husky thought it would. The Bulldogs simply had too many horses for the Blazers. No need for me to comment further. Husky is a bit preoccupied at this time with some other matters, so he will take this opportunity to wish all of you Happy Holidays. Hopefully we can all get back together next year in late August. I wish to thank all of you who chose to view this page throughout the 2021 season. Never dreamed we would amass over 20,000 views. It was another great ride. Be well!

PS: I apologize for giving a false starting time for the game.

Thanks for your support. I knew you were there! I am really overwhelmed by all the support I received this year. I did not get to see as many games in person this year as I wanted to, but nonetheless I watched tons of games all around the country on the computer. I hope to do better next year in my 82nd year. You guys in western PA are the salt of the earth. When I was on a Philadelphia website, I was often met with skepticism, but you guys out your way have been there for me every week from the get go. BTW, I was overjoyed to see Mount Lebanon defeat St. Joe Prep in the 6A PIAA state final. Once again, thanks for your support. Have a great holiday season, and go Steelers and Eagles! :D
