Mason Martin hit his 20th HR of the season this past weekend for the AA Altoona Curve.
The 22 year old has played in 82 games and has a .260 avg, .340 obp, .545 slg, .885 ops with 24 2B's, 2 3B's, 80 total hits, 32 BB, and 119 K's.

He continues to be intriguing because of the ridiculous power numbers but I just have a hard time believing he will be productive at the Major League level with his strikeout rate where it currently is. Theoretically, once he reaches the Majors his strikeout rate will only go up. I hope I'm wrong. Joey Gallo has succeeded and he has always struck out at a high rate so maybe Martin can do it too.
