One of the best pitchers in the league this season, and the struggling Pirates offense tagged him for 4 runs.

Hill is pitching out of his mind today, a 1 hit shutout through 6. He has walked a pair and struck out 7.

Bucs 4 Tigers 0

Pirates 8 Tigers 0 FINAL

Pirates pound out 14 hits today, while holding the Tigers to one hit.

Bucs pick up their 13th road win of the season.

Next up: Zac Gallen and the Diamondbacks on Friday

Nice win today, Bucs score 8 runs which is 4 more runs than they have scored in any game this month.

Hopefully the offense is back on track.

Baseball's a funny game. Roll the dice often enough and something unlikely will happen. Like Hedges getting 3 (!) RBIs. He'd had 4 in his previous 24 games.

Has to be a confidence booster. Maybe they should be talking with Hedges about a possible extension. ;)

Glad they brought out the bats. I was getting to the point where I thought maybe they should deal Keller for a couple of guys who score runs.
