I'm at the Curve game today.
They're losing 4-2 in the 7th. Mason Martin hit one to the roller coaster. An absolute bomb.

4-0 Pirates.
McCutchen, Reynolds, Hayes Suwinski, Bae, Marcano, and Hedges all have hits.
Santana and Hayes with an RBI each.
Bae has 2 RBI.

Keller through six innings 3 hits, 11 K's, 0 walks, on 77 pitches.

Amazing how the hitting clicks when your staff ace is pitching, and pitching well.

First series this season that didn’t end in a sweep, against an AL East team.

Pirates are now 4-8 against the AL East this season, with just a 3 game series against the Yankees remaining on the schedule.

Pirates pick up their 12th road win of the season.

First game this month the Pirates have scored more than 3 runs in a game.

RAISE IT!!

4-0 FINAL

Offense needs to start clicking. Last 14 days, a measly 18 runs before today, with a .241 BABIP and pathetic .177 team BA. Awful. Has to get better.

Just play a tick above .500 and wait for Endy, then Henry Davis, then Cruz return and this offense will be very good.

Endy has to be next in line with the trade of Heineman.
Hopefully soon. An Endy, Delay, Hedges trio with Endy getting some reps at 1st, 2nd, and catcher to keep his bat in the lineup and Hedges' defense.

At the end of April the Pirates were 4th in MLB in total runs scored. Behind the Rays, Rangers, and Red Sox.

Two weeks later and they have slipped to 15th.

Hedges hitting .150 should be no surprise. Delay hitting .340 is a pleasant surprise. With Endy hitting .244 in triple A and missing some time because of an injury, I hope they don't rush him until his bat gets going......which I know it will.
