Bucs lead 1-0 in the top of the 3rd. Bae scores from 3rd on a grounder where the catcher crushed him on a bad throw.

I think the Buster Posey rule needs to be revisited. The rule protects the catcher, but any throw that pulls the catcher in the baseline puts the runner at risk. Btw, that is where the intent of the throw is usually going.

What in the world is Shelton doing???

Leaves Underwood Jr. out there in a one run game, in the 8th inning.

Game is over now, Mullins just cranked a three run home run.

Not sure why he didn’t pitch the usual 7,8,9 inning guys, when the Bucs have the lead.

Thumbs Up:
Suwinski
Joe

Thumbs Down:
Hernandez
Underwood

Oviedo improved on his previous two outings, but the 4 hits and 5 walks wasn't enough for a thumbs up.

4 hits and 5 walks is not a good stat line. However everytime he had runners on, he pitched like a warrior. No runs were given up while he was on the mound. A small step in the positive direction.
