Dan I'm usually on board with your flyers, except for this one based on work ethic and attitude. His numbers still look worth it, but based on what I have heard and what I have seen I am saying no. They say the work ethic is not the best. He puts on weight every year and can't play third base anymore. In fact, I think he will be a DH. We already have Choi, Cutch, Santana, hopefully Andujar and any other guy we need to give a rest in the field that day filling up the DH spot. I saw him in Indy hit a ground ball double play and only take 3 steps out of the batters box.
I still like your Gary Sanchez suggestion, especially if we can sign him to a one year contract.
