Another DFAd first baseman to keep your eye on might be Frank Schwindel. Last year in 222 at bats, he hit 13 homers 40 rbi's and a .342 average. I would still prefer Andjuar first.

Definitely a good choice to give this guy a chance. Nothing to lose and a lot to gain.

I liked the interviews I have heard with Andujar before and after the game. I think he said he was friends (or made friends) with Oneil Cruz and Roansy Contreras. It was nice seeing him go 1 for 3 with a walk, but the fact that he also hit a sac fly was fundamentally sound.
