Crowe gets the save.
Wilson was very sharp tonight as well until the 6th inning.

The pitching all around has been fairly decent starting with that 12 game road trip.

The offense has been another story since the start of that road trip.

Again tonight they get a lead off triple from Gamel in the second and fail to bring the run home. You just have to find a way to get that run in, in those situations.

Some good AB’s tonight from Cruz, not just the three run homer. He laid off some good pitches just off the plate to draw a walk in his first AB, and honestly he should have drawn a walk in his second AB. The HPU gave Burns a couple of called strikes that should have been called balls.

The offense needs Reynolds and Hayes to get going and the rest will follow, the aforementioned need to start sparking this offense.

With two outs in the top of the 8th, the next 5 Brewers reach base. 4 Singles sandwiched with a BB.

Game tied at 7

Same old story against the Brewers, no lead is ever safe it always has to get “interesting”

Pirates had a 96.6% chance to win the game with 2 outs in the 8th and nobody on.

Would have been a tough loss to swallow if they let this one get away.

I was just about to look up their extra innings record this season. I know extras has not been too kind to our Bucs lately.

Allen scores on a pitch popping out of the catcher's mitt.

1-0 good guys.

Bucs knot it up at 3 with a pair of runs in the 7th.

Marcano in the lineup is so much better than Tsutsugo. The guy is a catalyst for this offense.

Why the Pirates dangled Tsutsugo out there before the deadline was a complete fail, nobody was going to trade for him.

Mitchell is smoking the ball today, 0-3 but everything has been on a line.
