Who are some guys (maybe not so obvious) we would like to see in the Pirates HOF?

Well, with the exception of Parker, those are the less obvious choices.

Who should be first? Class of 3, though I doubt ownership is that restrained.

I know we have several longtime Pirate fans that will read comments. I would love to hear more suggestions for who you would like to see in a Pirates hall of fame. Some obvious, but more fun would be the not so obvious.

Well, do you want this to be the Hall of Fame or the Hall of Very Good?

I'm inclined toward the latter. It ought to be celebrating a multitude of memories. Which is why I like Dan's inclusion of Bill Madlock.

Oh, and since Barry and Bobby ripped my heart out, I'm for keeping them out.

I think a lot of people agree with Val, but I would Bonds in.
Chuck Tanner for sure.
Bob Prince- Not living in Pittsburgh, I could pick up Pirates games on the radio once in a while. It wasn't difficult to tell when I found the game, just by Bob Prince's voice.
Doc Ellis for so many reasons, good or bad.

AJ Burnett and Russell Martin. They both stand as lasting symbols of the only winning baseball in Pittsburgh in my lifetime. AJ especially. And there has been no single moment of Pirates baseball over the past 20-30 years that stands above the Martin HR off of Cueto in the wild card game.
