Costly error there.
Very costly error, Cruz’s 4th on the season, he also had 15 for Indy so 19 total.
Bucs lead the majors in errors, obviously they do not have a good enough offense to overcome all of the errors. Pitching has been pretty solid the last 3 weeks, offense continues its slumber and the defense has not been that good.

Aren't Suwinski and Madris being service time manipulated?
Bob thinks we're still in tank mode. I'm expecting a steady diet of lineups like this.
I am still trying to figure out how service time works for rookies that play a partial season.
Roansy Contreras last start in the majors was 6 innings 4 hits 1 walk 1 run 7 k's.
He pitched in triple A last night. Has anyone heard anything about when he will be called up?

The talk from the front office said it was to limit and monitor his innings.

Thanks Dan. I trust this front office more than most people, but don't always trust what parameters the ownership gives the front office to work with. Limiting innings is probably smart. I wish I heard somewhere that his triple A outing last night was a tune up to get him ready for a trip back to the majors. Do you think that is coming shortly?
It said he went two innings last night. I am hoping to see him back on the team once Quintana is traded, but if he only threw 2 innings he might not be stretched enough to join the rotation next week.
Here is what most people don't want to see. 2023 will be a lottery for the draft based on how bad you finish. I am not sure, but I would imagine the worse you finish, the more slot money you have to sign players. 18 teams all have a chance of receive a lottery pick in the top 6. The worst 3 records all have equally the best chance in the lottery. If the season ended now, here are the chances for each team receiving the number one pick.
