Jacob Gonzales is on an absolute tear in the minors this season.

Coming in today he was hitting .423 with 6 homers and 22 RBI.

He was recently promoted from low A Bradenton to high A Greensboro, and he has not cooled off one bit.

He is hitting .632 for Greensboro with three homers since being called a week ago.

Gonzales is listed as a 3B, 1B, LF

Another 3-4 day for Gonzales with another bomb.

Gorski also went deep again for the Grasshoppers.

Gonzales is now batting .452 on the season with 8 home runs.

Well, he'll be 24 in a month. In five years with the Giants, he never got above High A. Maybe he got contacts.

I think we are starting to see that cancelled 2020 season, really hurting players development.

In Gonzales case, it looks like he is starting to hit his stride in his development.

He is currently leading all of the minors in Avg, OBP, and Ops. I think with the trajectory he is on, he could be in AA ball later this season. About where he should be at this age.
