It takes having a solid core of guys before you grab a Burennett, Martin, and Liriano.
Unfortunately the owner isn't willing to (or able to compete) with other teams for a big free agent. But he has shown he will spend money when the time is right.
They need to get a core group established. So far it's Hayes, Reynolds, and Cruz.

My vote for last night goes to Tucapita Marcano. Marcano great diving catch. Stealing second. Getting an extra base on a hit. #1 is how he scored from third when there was a rundown between first and second. He might not be an everyday player, but can make things happen when he is in there.
