Another horrible display by the Pirates “offense”.

They get another stellar pitching performance and the offense does next to nothing.

Guy at second in the 10th with the top of the order coming up. And they can’t even advance the runner to third.

I pray Tsutsugo never gets another AB for the Pirates ever again. 1 HR out of your first baseman, almost 2 months into the season is ridiculous.

The good news is the pitching is there if they use them correctly. However, the offense is so bad it really doesn’t matter.

Rockies 4 Pirates 0 after 2 1/2

4 Runs might be enough for the Rockies to win this game.

Not a good start at all by Thompson. These poor pitchers must pitch with so much stress on them, knowing if they give up a couple runs the game is more than likely over.

At least the Pirates didn’t wait until the 5th inning this game to collect a hit.

Come on offense WAKE up already!!

The Pitt vs Louisville ACC tourney game is terrific.

5-5 Heading to the 9th

Pitt needs to win the tournament in order to get into the NCAA tournament.

Maybe the committee let’s them in if they make the chip, since they shafted them last year.

2/3 of the Rockies bottom half of the order hit Keller like a piñata, Keller gets Conner Joe to GIDP to get out of the mess.

Still 4-2 Bucs coming to the plate.

And now the Pirates offense has shown some more life today, Jack Swack just hit a 3 run tater.

The offense seems to click a little bit better without Tsutsugo mucking things up in the middle of the lineup.

No reason Chavis shouldn’t be in the lineup everyday. I don’t care about righty/lefty matchups. Put your best hitters in the lineup.

What a pleasant surprise to wake up and see the Pirates came back to beat the Padres 4-2 on a Hayes 3 run blast in the 9th.
