This a real kick in the nuts. I guess it is very good news for Tyler Heineman. If I am Shelton and Cherington, I would give this guy a good long tryout as the primary catcher for the the next 2+ months. We have seen quite a lot of Michael Perez and he appears to be a non-solution.

Does anyone know what is wrong with Henry Davis? I see he has not played and is on the 7-day DL, but I see no news anywhere as to why
