Can't wait to watch this one tonight. Not really sure what to expect. As long as he doesn't have a disaster for a start, I'll be happy.

Slash line is currently .290/.344/.525 for an OPS of .869 with 11 homers and 17 stolen bases.

This dude is now slashing .304/.385/.565 for an OPS of .950 with 17 homers.

He has 5 HR and 15 RBI in his last TWO GAMES.

This is the first year since the board has been revived. Hopefully next year will be a little better. It's probably too late to start making game threads, but next year we can start those up again and see if that sparks some energy back on this site.

He's back from his injury and is 6-14 (.429) with 2 SB in his first 3 games back.

Consistency has been key for Priester.

His season ERA is 3.08 in 79 innings pitched.

His monthly ERAs have all been between 2.63 and 3.43. Steady.

My guess is there is a chance that the Bucs just straight up release him after he inevitably clears waivers. Which means the Pirates will be stuck with his contract.
