Tonight's game is going to be on MLB Network. It's also the MLB.TV Free Game of the Day.

Don't agree at all with Hurdle benching a red hot Fort to start Barajas who is going to 'give it a go'. That's just dumb. And of course Barmes is entrenched in the lineup once again after going 0-4 with 3 K's.

Sorry, but I am slightly tired of Hurdle having certain entrenched starters, regardless of their performance, while having no problem benching other players no matter how they perform when given a chance to see the field.

Some of you here must love John Whener. He criticized Jones, who hit an absolute rocket right at the first baseman, because he didn't try to hit it up the middle to score a run....and he was serious!

Barajas whiffs on a pathetic off balance swing a Barmes tries to reach at a curve a foot outside for strikeout 4 out of his last 5 AB's.

Someone tell the veteran Kevin Correia to stop walking the lead off hitter. Jeez.

How impressive is this Cardinals lineup? Top to bottom they are just stacked. What an offense.

Brad Lincoln is looking pretty good right now as a starter, eh? Correia long reliever, eh?

Said it when they made this choice. If they are showcasing Correia for a trade, they can stop now...

What's the over/under on Correia giving it right back?

Man, is it fun to watch McCutchen run down fly balls. Not so sure I'd want to see him shift to LF when Marte is recalled.

I swear the last 3 times I have fully gone off on a full blown rant about Clint Barmes, he rakes. I need to just post a Clint Barmes rant on a daily basis. See if it works.

Btw, I wish Presley would morph into a stud at the plate cause I like the way he plays baseball. Good on him for jacking that PH homer. I haven't given up on him quite yet.

Btw2, is there a better feeling than sitting down, sipping a nice beverage on a hot summers night, watching the Pirates play a tough opponent & looking like a real ballclub?

Btw3, I like Garrett Jones as a Bucco. 3 HOMER INNING??? Go BUCS!

Forget the Cardinals' fantastic stats up and down the lineup...the Lumber Company just owns. Stunned silence all over this Red Birds crowd. Fun stuff.
