Clint Hurdle got too fancy benching Walker for such an important game right before we go on the road against the Phills and Cards...

Yes, Hurdle said no Grilli or Hughes and Watson would only work to one guy. That's why they went to Morris for the day. Really, Resop vs Delmon is a matchup we win most times.

This wasn't an important game though. We already won the series. These are the types of games that you rest guys if they need it.

I don't think that's a given. And Harrison came about 6 inches from changing that notion.
