Nice to see Presley rather than Cantbata in the lineup.

I LOVE the logo used in the lineups....Miss that alot, our current logo seems too bad luckish for my liking. I think we should do what the Pens did and go back to the old logo but modernize it up a touch....
oh yea, good game going on

And now Pedro!

It's bombs away in Pittsburgh PA! (I heard that years ago at 3 Rivers)

The Pirates need one baserunner next inning to get McCutchen another AB. He only needs a HR for the cycle.

105 pitches. Any chance McDonald pitches the 9th?

I'd like him to finish for three reasons...
1. A complete game looks good for an All-Star resume
2. Any chance to save the bullpen...do it
3. He is flat dealing!

Well he is leading off the ninth, so I am guessing he stays in.

Raise it, boys.

Great effort. Saw the Barajas, Jones and Pedro HR's (all just smoked) and J-Mac with the solid work. Fun to watch.

I'm just waiting for the day when Pedro puts one in the river on the fly. The ball just explodes off his bat.

Liked the fact that in the prior AB, he took a vicious cut when given the green light 3-0, and then hit a line drive to left center.

Next AB, ball down-and-in, crushed out to RF.

Good at-bats. Both of them.

Clear the Deck X3.

"Cannonball comin'!" I think Greg is really trying to make that his catch phrase. As long as the Pirates keep hitting taters he could say "Beetlejuice" for all I care.

Raise it.

I think he is too. Thank god the boys are giving him the opportunity.

At least he's not trying to do player-specific homerun calls anymore. It sounds ridiculous when John Sterling does it, but its even worse when its a "Jack Jack" or some such nonsense.

Of all the Pirates homerun calls this season, my favorite was Neverett's when Barajas hit the walk-off homer in May against the Nats. A very simple but enthusiastic "GOOOONNNE!" was all that was necessary, and it was awesome.
