Cool... Two First basemen! lol
I am guessing that Hague is probably the DH.

I look for big things today! Seeing the Bucs hit in the first, I think it's going to be a good offensive day...and I also think Lincoln will have a good outing. Prediction 5-2 Pirates!

Good job, Pedro. Ripped another screaming line-drive HR.

Clint Barmes needs to sit. His at-bats are just painful to watch.

Just came home from Costco. Did Presley get a poor jump on Choo's fly ball? Tribe just took a 4-3 lead, Lincoln out of the game. -_-

Not a great angle, but Lincoln insists on throwing fastball, fastball, fastball, fastball, fastball, fastball, fastball ...

Hey, guess what, Brad. These are major league hitters. May want to mix in, oh, I don't know, SOME OTHER @$*&$#@% PITCH!!

If you did not see the 2nd Pedro HR today on television (and 4th in two games), you missed one of the hardest hit balls in the major leagues this season.

Pedro held up on a slider first pitch. He was looking to go but the pitch was not one that was hittable.

Second pitch, 94 mph fastball, inner half, he hit a SCREAMING line drive that left the yard in a heartbeat. The ball had to have been moving 80 mph when it reached the RF stands.

WOW! Looking back, I guess I forgot to post that I thought Pedro was going to his a couple of HR.

I am going to say it now...if they pitch to him, he will hit another one today!

It's amazing to think what could be (in September that is) if this Pirate OFFENSE decided to find it's stride and produce consistent runs day in and day out.

I know the Pirate pitchers would really appreciate it. They might even last the entire season and not go in the tank like last year.

One note:

I think of the 4 Pedro HR's - all just demolished - one leaves PNC. His 3 line drive HR's are probably not high enough to get over the Clemente wall.

Holy crap, Pedro just missed No. 3.

He took a fastball on the outside corner and absolutely CRUSHED it, high off the LF wall. Missed leaving the yard the other way by about 3'.

Hey, I knew that the team was just in a bad streak. Did NOT like the trip to Baltimore, that is for sure.

That team can simply hit far too much for the Pirates to compete right now.

Oh, I'm not singling anyone out.

If anything, I am just as guilty as being a little to 'down' as of late. Not even 48 hours ago I was all for trading Pedro without a second thought... now he caught another hot streak and has put more than a second thought in my mind.

It's just funny how losing streaks send [some] Pirates fans into a Pavlovian mode of 'NOT AGAIN! WE'RE NOT GONNA BREAK THE STREAK'... right or wrong.

Good to see things will equalize for a little while now... until the next streak! :D
