I said the Pedro cleanup experiment was over long ago and was laughed at. I like him in the #6 spot.

Not sure what you do with him. He is back to looking lost, and more importantly, confused.

Lincoln back to the pen, Resop waived and let Owens or Wilson have a start until Karstens or Morton are ready to return.

Lincoln blew any chance of sticking in the rotation with his last two starts.

I always had my doubts about Lincoln. He's been given his chances and has done an average to below average job. The bull pen is where I believe he should be.

PS: Alvarez underachieving is really killing this Pirate offense.

I'll add Tabata to my list of underachievers. Alvarez and Tabata are killing this Pirate team offensively.

I mean, they've scored 4 tonight and have 9 hits through 8 innings. Lincoln and Resop are more to blame than the hitters.

I agree RTJR.

And just a couple weeks ago, everyone was screaming for Lincoln in the rotation!

No, everyone wasn't. You, sir, are engaging in hyperbole. Not only have I never screamed that Lincoln ought to be in the rotation, but I haven't even thought it.

I am very encouraged by them at least making it a game at the end.....this is very similar to that reds game that we had no business being in but made it a game...

Frustrating game but Bucs did show some life late. Hey look on the bright side, we weren't subjected to a 5th AB by Pedro.

We've been lucky this year to not have wasted many games where we get decent offensive output. Offenses like ours just can't afford it. Back at it tomorrow Buccos.

he will hit a line drive up the middle again and tim neverett will say "hopefully pedro will get started thanks to that"
