If Pedro makes an out his first AB, then that means that 5 out of 6 hitters in sequence in the Pirates batting order will be hitting under the Mendoza line. Don't think I've ever seen that.

Bedard looks like crap. Two walks. He is getting behind every hitter

Barmes is horrible by the way. He dove for the ball and was past it. What happened to this guy's defense?

I agree there. I'd rather bench Barmes and put Josh Harrison at SS and Garrett Jones at RF. This team is a work in progress. But, I still have high hopes. Walker will get it going (so many freaking bad luck hits with solid contact) and I think Presley will get his act together and get it going later this season. Such a young team...

Agreed, he should have at least knocked it down. 4-0 against Santana with this offense is about insurrmountable. Only question is how many strikeouts????

The Pirates offense is the reason steroids came to baseball

The Pirates hitters don't seem to mind that the best bat in the line-up today belongs to Bedard.

4 straight Pirates "hitters" wave at a 2-strike change-up (wow, what a focking shock, he throws the change with 2 strikes?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?), Bedard singles, Tabata taps back to Santana for the easy DP.

Can the Pirates please let Harrison play SS forv a few straight games? Three straight doubles...Pedro is 3 for 5 against Santana.

Walker and McKenry killed that inning. Walker, what the hell are you doing? The guy's on the ropes and you lay a bunt down. McKenry, he just threw you an outside fastball, so you roll over on the next pitch, the same exact pitch. Ugh.

Come on boys 9 outs to go, only 2 runs and a bad bullpen to go after.
