That was Mike Williams-like. Raise it again.

Nothing like a relaxing evening watching baseball :D

Some good bullpen pitching until the end tonight. Hopefully just a short blip in form for hanrahan!

Also, kudos to Burnett for giving the team 8 really good innings, giving the pen a lot of help as well.

A closer in serious need of consistency. This can't go on all season, can it?

BTW, this is not to suggest if Bedard has to go on the DL that the Pirates should recall Justin Wilson. But . . . he's getting closer to deserving a look. He had another terrific start today for Indy: 6 IP, 3 singles, 0 runs, 1 walk, 6 Ks.

Fantasy baseball fans will submit that this season has been brutal to every - EVERY - closer apart from the unlikey group of Jim Johnson, Santiago Casilla, Fernando Rodney, Brett Meyers and Craig Kimbrel [the only expected member of the "1-2-3 save" club"].

Hanrahan actually located his breaking balls pretty well last night. It was more the fastball he had trouble with.

Cutch scoring from second on a groundball to short was amazing. One thing most players say about his speed is that he's not the fastest right out of the gate, but once he gets going his breakaway speed is ridiculous. There's an example.

Ths shortstop really screwed that one up. Once he realized Cutch was going home, he took 3 or 4 steps towrard home before throwing the ball. Had he thrown it right away, Cutch would have been out on any kind of a decent throw.
