Well, I was sitting here debating whether to give the goat to Hanrahan for the badly blown save, to Pedro for his 0-4 showing, stranding 4 guys on base and 2 Ks, or to Hurdle for NOT pinch-hitting for Barajas.... but a funny thing happened on the way to that "goat posting" GREAT WIN! Special kudos to the whole team for continuing to battle. For picking up Hanrahan after a bad outing for him.

SP: Burnett...great start 8 innings, just 6 hits, 1 BB, 10 Ks and 2 earned runs.

WIN: Watson may never get an easier win, but he did what he had to.

Blown Save: Hanrahan

Star #3: A healthy Cutch is back. Goes 1-2 with solo HR...to put the Bucs on the board...plus 2 walks

Star #2: Giving it to Presley...coming off the bench cold against a tough closer, manages a hit...perhaps he has Rodriguez worrying about him on the bases...perhaps not, but 2 wild pitches gets him to third with less than two out for the tying run. But the Barajas HR WINS it!

Star #1: It was only one hit, but what a hit and what a time...giving the #1 star to Barajas.

Honorable Mention: Giving more accolades to Burnett. He kept the Bucs in this game when they were not swinging the bats very well, having only 3 hits prior to the 9th inning. GJones comes through with a solo HR to tie the game after the Bucs were down 2-0. McLouth gets an HM for working a walk in the bottom of the 8th, with subsequently led to the Bucs taking the lead. Walker gets one for going 1-3 and driving in that go ahead run with SF in the 8th.

Technically, Barajas deserves all three stars for the night.... because there's no way that's going to happen again, at least not like that.

There's a very good chance Rod just [nearly] doubled his .383 OPS...

Still stunned about this one.

Aj was great. That knuckle curve is filthy when he has it working.

Gotta give AJ a star, I know the 9th was the focus, but we arn't there without another gem from him, particularly coming off his career worst start.
