Ok, now they are playing a Chukky Okobi rap about the Bucs.

Chukky's a rapper now? Weird.

I know Chukky's family, particularly his sisters Obi and Didi. I went to summer camp with them.

I guess I must have forgotten that about him. In fairness, he was a good deal older than I was. I just remember him being a large man and typically the "anchor" on any tug-of-war match.

Cutch has been amazing.

Barmes has not! I am really starting to miss Ronnie Cedeno. Hell, I am starting to miss Jack Wilson.

Maybe, just maybe . . . Barmes is taking some of his offensive woes to field with him. Maybe, just maybe . . . he has shaken out of the hitting funk and his fielding will come around. (Can't blame a guy for hoping, right?)

Soon its gonna be hard to keep Alvarez out of the #4 slot - which is a good thing for the lineup as a whole. Walker is a "misfit" in that slot. He's better suited for #5 or #6.

Nice.

He looks like a completely different hitter. Laying off the breaking balls in the dirt, taking hacks at hittable pitches, really smacking pitches up in the zone.

Wow. Now, aren't you guys glad I kept telling to you lay off Pedro and not to reach too many conclusions based on a small sample size? :D :?

Pedro Alvarez is on pace to hit 45 home runs. Vote for Pedro!

I know it's not about me but (and I said this before) __ He is playing so well because of me. It was I who defended him and stayed with him while everyone else was done with him. But this late spring, I signed on with those who declared him to be a $6 million waste. Yes, it is because I finally gave up that he started the power thing.

I don't need any credit for saving the Pirates but just buy me a beer sometime and I'll wish the worst for you too.

Yep, and how much longer before I can start rubbing my Tabata doll for good luck?

Having lived within 100 yards of a school for 11 years now, I can attest that EVERYTHING is illegal in that proximity.

I mean jeez, you forget a bath robe ONE DAY.....
