GOAT: Giving it to Tabata. He had one of our hits, but was thrown out trying to stretch it to double. His throw from RF on the winning SF was horrible.

Star #3: Hughes pitched a scoreless 9th after pitching at Indy just two days ago, to keep it a one run game.

Star #2: Pedro. There is hope. He is coming through a little, but each time he has, it has been in the clutch. Nice HR today to tie it up, after failing to make a play to preserve the no-no.

Star #1: JMac....six innings of no hit ball. Ended with just one hit and one run ane 8 Ks in 7 innings. He has to improve his work though to be able to go deeper in games. Even if he had continued the no-no, I wonder if Hurdle would have left him keep going with his pitch count and the score.

Lets win game 2~!

Seems hard to believe, but Alvarez -- given his horrible start -- already has almost equaled his HR total for all of last season: 3 so far vs. 4. And the 2012 season isn't even a month old yet.

OK, OK, I know -- all three have come on changeups. Still, they do count . . .

Looks as though I spoke too soon. Now he has matched last year's production. What in the world has got into him?

So much crap gets said about Pedro...it disgusts me. The kid has always been a notorious slow starter...then after the slow start last year, injuries came.

He's not there yet, but he will get there. Good to see him today. And you know, so may "fans" like to call him fat and lazy and say he doesn't care...if you watch him, that just is not true. And his teammates love him.

Go Bucs!

Lol, don't do that. I NEVER called him fat OR lazy OR said he doesn't care. I DID say he will never get it though. I would GLADLY eat crow if he were to get it though and come around.
