Good call. The Gamecast changed from "0" to "1" just ahead of the radio feed.

Why are they bunting here??? Moving the guy to 2B for an out clearly decreases your chance to score. McKenry has been hot too.

Ugh, caught stealing instead on a botched hit and run.

Would this be a good time to point out that Pedro's OPS over his last 5 games is .919? He's also knocked in more than 50% of the runs scored by the team in those games (yeah, yeah, I know, RBIs are meaningless).

Since we were crucifying him for a small sample-size early in the season, seems like he should get a little praise for his small sample-size success lately.

Shame on the crowd at PNC Park. There should have been a damn loud ovation for McDonald. They panned the crowd and hardly anyone was standing and clapping. That looked terrible.

I was thinking the same thing. A guy comes that close to a no-no, he deserves a standing ovation. Probably a bunch of non-fan yuppies at the park right now.

Hey Pedro has an RBI on every hit he has this year, he must be having a great season

I agree completely he got hammered on this board and deservedly so, but he has been better lately , and hasn't looked quite as lost, at the plate. He deserves a little praise, maybe he'll end up being a player that performes somewhere in between his rookie season and last year, which i think all of us will gladly take at this point

I would watch a baseball game purely for the enjoyment of seeing Tom Hallion behind the plate.

Is it me or does the local girls softball team have better outfield arms than the Pirates? What the heck Jose?

Awful throw. And he took forever to get it off, too.

Walker and Tabata need to take a few days off. They are seriously gripping right now.

Tabata's been terrible today. Horrible throw to let the Rockies take the lead, bad at-bats, and he gets thrown out at second trying to turn a routine single into a double.

2 runs on 3 hits versus 1 run on 9 hits.

Rox get 5 baserunners off of BB and HBP, we get only 1.

We make 3 outs on the bases, they make none and show how speed kills.

Bucs tie the MLB record for most games to start a season scoring/giving up 5 runs or less at 17.
