Keep Hunter Pence and Michael Bourn from getting on base!

I heard he pulled himself after a few innings in lastnights game in Bradenton because he felt tightness in his leg...

I was watching this game live and boy did Phillips smoke that one. Such a beautiful moment. God I love baseball so much.

Though it's only been maybe four years, I feel like it's been nearly a decade of saying/thinking 'how do the Astros finish ahead of the Bucs in the standings??? How is that team better than us??? They have to implode sooner or later, right?!'

Today is sweeeeeeeeeeet redemption.

Not only are the Buccos finally in first, but we got their beating a team who I feel like we've been better than for too long.

Now only if we can beat those pesky Brewers!

Ya'll get your fill of Iron City for me!

Oh yeah, and---

RAISE IT!

NS, I have been saying that for years. I moved here in 98 and eventually stopped going, because the Bucs always got "Milwaukee style" beat downs in every game, usually rolling over and playing dead. I quit counting when I was 1-12.

The Astros have been my personal vampire over the years. No matter what we could never drive a stake into their heart.

My personal irk is all the media tyeps down here whose mantra has been "Well we suck, but at least we aren't the Pirates!"

Don't hear to much laughter over there now! Can't wait for tonight's game.

Go get 'em Buccos!

DO you guys even remember what you where doing when the pirates were on top in the division.. it was the freakshow of 97, but it was not after the all star game... officially
we need to go longer back, but ok.. well... 1997 was my year i passed college and my working live started...

SO PINCH ME AGAIN, KICK ME, TELL ME!! WE ARE FIRST!! hell yeah!! LETS GO BUCS!!

It has cost me many sleepless nights the last 2 months, escpecially after the buccos got sweeped by the fucking orioles!! but it has all been worth it..

* Watching the out of town scoreboards
* Listening every game to ROOT sports commentary (even if i can choose due to mlb.tv)
* Lacee Collins (she is so NOT HOT)
* Seeing this Sell Out Crowds make noise and especially when HaMMer comes on..
* Other teams playing like the old Pirates
* The McKenry Homer of Marmol
* Jeff Karstens Haunted House Show
* My debts to HEINEKEN & EBAY.com ;) (must collect these baseballcards & Pirates Memorabillia)

JUST WOW... and even if the Bucco's wont make the run to CINDARELLAISM, i Had a blast and Love IT!!

SO next.. Bring the DEADBIRDS and maybe, really maybe BRING ON MILSUCKEE!!

cheerio

Aw, come on, Dutch. She's at least a 6. And her baseball savvy raises her to an 8. Give her some love! (I would.) ;)

I'm with Dutch. If I were to rate her terms of WAR, she's about 1.0 -- just above replacement level for me.
