Nice. I dig the classic Stros logo.

I'd like to see that replay again. It almost looked like he got his foot in under the tag.

I wish Pirates players would bowl over the catcher more often. I hate sliding into home like that. I see more injuries from slides than collisions.

Maholm is being Maholm again.....allowing too many base runners....getting behind in the count.....giving up early runs......frustrating.......

By the way IA, Harrison, by running into the Catcher, got his bell rung and a bloody nose and was out.

I'll take the slide.

But it was a slide. He didn't purposely run into the catcher. He got his foot caught on the catchers leg and fell into him. That's how Harrison busted up his face.

The inning should have been over with the easy DP ball hit to Harrison.

Also, bowling over the catcher? Harrison is what, 5'7" right?

I'm done with Overbay. Even a below-average 1st baseman would have picked that throw from Harrison.

Holy bad defense Batman. Three errors in this game already, two by Harrison. The young guys defense has been very shaky since they have been called up. This game has been about errors and Pirates getting thrown out on the bases.

It's funny. To me, defense would seem to be the thing that comes naturally. But even the current veterans took a while to get solid defensively. These guys are good defensively. Guess they just need a little time.

Get tough Maholm and pitch out of this.

The one thing I like about Maholm is that even when isn't pitching his best, like today, he really seems to buckle down still. Way to get out of a tough jam...

He is definitely dancing through the raindrops today. We gotta blow this open. 8-) 8-) 8-) Maybe I should go back out into the 105 heat and do some yard work. I went to vacuum the pool and they went ahead.

Good job, bullpen.

Maholm not as sharp as he has been, but the Harrison concussion accounts for two of those runs. Pen did a good job, once again.

And now, thanks to the wonder of MLB.TV and AppleTV, I switch over to watch D'Backs v. Brewers. Nothing more American than lots of baseball on the 4th of July. Let's Go Snakes!
