Poor throw there by Wood, but what a nice play by Overbay to get the tag!

Correia having a very good game so far.

boy does our lineup stink right now. How long can this team last while players like Overbay, Diaz, Cedeno and Wood perform so far below thier potential, and/or expectations? Wake up gentleman!

And Wood hits into a DP after chasing two balls out of the strikezone after Capuono had walked two guys on. That an inning after Diaz hit into a DP to end that inning. 0 home runs for Diaz, does he have malaria maybe?

Correia is the man right now, he looks like he could go 13 scoreless for the W.

Bay would be the one to ruin Correia's perfect game

Well, that was a little bizarre, but I'll take any help at this point. They're going to have to win this 1-0 at this rate. :(

No offense once again. Getting awfully tired of seeing zeroes inning after inning after inning.

Sigh.

Make that 4 runs. The quality start and the game went down the drain in the eighth. Anyone else think they went too long with Correia?

I do. But then again Resop coming in and promptly serving up a single kinda makes it a moot point.

All this with two outs. Of course, the inning should be over now if Matt Diaz can play a routine fly ball.

Diaz sucks in the field and at the plate. Might as well let Jones play against lefties.
