I just had a horrible feeling when Maholm gave up that 3-run HR. Just did not like the fact that he was struggling.

Game now tied. *%$#

Now the lead is gone and the damage continues.

Is GameDay way off, or is this Ump's strike zone absolutely microscopic?

Ump seems okay. Maholm was throwing belt-high. Umpire not to blame.

Cutch needs to start this inning off on the right foot. NY's bullpen blows. Stop the momentum. Right. Freaking. Now.

What a revolt'en development this is!!

Didn't dream we could score seven with this group today. DID
Didn't think Maholm would allow seven not be enough! WASN'T
Didn't imagiine the Hurdle wold allow him in long enough to see seven scored! DID

BASEBALL

We need to win this thing.

I can't wait to hear Hurdles response to leaving Maholm in as long as he did. Guess he thought Paul would get by with swagger. Unreal.

All my pessimism is back, full force. Why do I feel that we will lose this game and go into a tailspin and lose 7 or 8 in a row? Gah, being a lifelong Pirates' fan can sure be miserable. :( :( :(

Can we now agree that it is "okay" to steal bases leading 7-0?????

The ump is missing a few today but nothing alarming. On the walk to Evans, Maholm threw 3 strikes but the ump called only 2 so he ended up walking him.

After what happened yesterday I ain't complaining about a few borderline calls.

Maholm is to blame for his troubles. He has been over the middle of the plate all day.

Hey, Bertie and I are in the Pub. Time to join us for a rally!!

If Garrett Jones was concerned about playing time, he just magnified that concern. Dumb ass.

He certainly looked safe.

And now the really bad balk call for failing to "stop".

Yeah, that went out with cargo pants, didn't it???

What happened to Hurdle today? Is he in a fog? Why is Veras stil in the game? Did we forget when to change pitchers?
