Awful call but part of blame falls on third baseman. Why did he tag Walker?

Maybe Capuano is the first one to blow his top and start shooting his defensive players. Holy crap!

Now I'd really like Tabata to look opposite field and not swing like he is trying to hit it in the Hudson.

Left work losing 2-0.

Arrived home winning 5-2.

Maybe the Pirates should just pay me to stay home.

Ever since hitting his HR against the Cubs, Cutch looks like he should be playing for a high school team.

Nice 1-2-3 inning by Resop.

Mets announcers are not happy with the past two games. Not happy at all.

(And pretty dismissive of the Bucs. Uhhh, have they looked at the respective W-L records for the two teams?)

OK, the 26th win is in the books . . . and 27 days earlier than it came last season. After 54 games a year ago, the Pirates were 22-32. By the time they'd won 26, they also had lost 50.

The NY Post and Daily News sports sections should be an interesting read tomorrow, too. ;)

Super catch and a web gem for sure!

But not, seemingly, the best.
They seemed to overlook the fact that Cutch's catch was also 'over the shoulder' which they declared to be the deciding factor in choosing the winner.

That was one interesting game (and one I'm happy to have attended).

While Capuono strung up zeros thru six, the guys were actually hitting him HARD, with nothing to show for it. Probably six or seven balls were hit on the button, but right at defenders. Then, they score 5 runs in an inning while getting only two balls out of the infield (this is normally what happens AGAINST us). I guess it all evens out in Baseball.
