Hope Walker is feeling better.

Question. How do they know if Walker had flu-like symptoms yesterday, or was simply made sick by watching the Pirates hit? :?

I think they talked about giving Walker a blow sometime during this homestand. I think he is the only Bucco to start every game. Tough position to play every day( unless you're Cal Ripken).

Didn't Ripken play short?? (Which is just as tough)

Love Alvarez in the 5 hole and Overbay dropped to 6. Shake it up Clint.

Shake things up Clint. I especially like moving Overbay down in the order. He is not producing...right now anyways...

Of course one could say that about almost all of the Pirates.

Would've liked to have seen Tabata bumped back up to lead-off.

This game is off to a promising start ... if you work on a suicide hotline.

It's in a rain delay now...possibly a postponed game.

Dodgers broadcast says they anticipate a 90 minute delay.

Just long enough that we'll have to go to the pen. Great. This should go well.

Get tomorrow's guy warming up to go out after the delay...Bump everyone up a day and throw Morton in the rotation for Sunday...

More than the pen being used, it is disappointing that it's a waste of Morton. I like your idea.

If they postpone the game, it does not get played. Dodgers do not return to Pittsburgh this season. I doubt that either team is in the playoff hunt in September, requiring that the game be played.

There are a few times later in the season that both teams are on off days and are on the same coast at the same time...

So, the question now is: Does Hurdle bench McCutchen tomorrow also?

Colin Dunlop tweated the suspension is over. This announcement after the game was cancelled so I'm guessing the rain out counts as a benching. That's fine with me, the message was delivered, which is most important. Besides I really want to beat the Brewers!

Someone needs to drop off about 20 chick flick DVD's at Braun's house to get the waterworks rolling, and then drop off 30 coupons for the Super China Buffet at Prince's to distract them from going to the stadium
