No score through five innings.. Fausto Carmona is on. His last start was a two hour game.. looks like another quick one tonight..

Tribe announcers are saying National League baseball is not baseball. lol Manny Acta is very upset because Travis Hafner can't hit
for a week and a half.

Carmona has struck out seven matching his season high..

Alvarez made a nice play on a check swing roller..

After failing to hold on to a running reaching grab on Jason Donald's deep ball Andrew Mc Cutchen made a sensational
diving catch.

Neil Walker didn't even reach second base on his slide. lol

Still no hit from Pedro..

Those are the highlights so far..

Another starting pitcher can't get a quality start. I know the hitting sucks, but the starting pitching is even more disappointing.

bucco ... Maholm bears no blame for today's goat-fuck known as the Pirate game.

He threw really, REALLY well. He was trying to hold Cleveland to -1 runs since the offense cannot get a @#%& base runner off Fausto "Hammered by Every Other Goddamn Offense In Baseball" Carmona.

I separate the two Bucfan. Maholm still gave up four runs and you are right, he pitched well. But this game is about scoring runs and limiting the other team from scoring runs. 4 runs in 7 innings, even though he was good for 6 innings, is not good.

Fausto Carmona pitched fifteen innings without a runner in scoring position.

Maholm should have about eight wins this year.

So what do y'all think: Is Pedro pressing? Is he hitting the ball with authority or does he look tentative? I mean, by now, he ought to have at least one base hit, right?

And Doumit continues his horrible stretch of hitting. He is not doing anything recently.

This game looks pretty losable right now.

He hit the left-hander's slider pretty solidly. Layed off two out of the strike zone, big swing on the third, fouled off the fourth, and hit the 5th consecutive breaking ball solidly.

His AB was Ruthian compared to Doumit swinging at pitches that would have hit a gopher in the head.

And he showed a pretty good knowledge of the strike zone. He swings at strikes, lays off balls.

Finally, all we need to know about Pedro Alvarez is the following: The Indians brought in a lefty reliever to face him, and the guy threw 5 straight breaking balls. They were afraid to throw him a fastball.

Meanwhile, the Tribe had no worries about Carmona facing Ryan Church ...

Milledge is swinging a hot bat.

Russell, bring him in to hit for Donnelly. Or Bobby Crosby is the likely choice.
