I don't know BB but Crosby isn't the answer that's for sure. He is terrible. I'd rather have Cedeno.

I dont know if he's hurt...I think it's more of Russell trying to put more pop in the lineup and Crosby against a lefty might do that...

Honestly Dan, I think Ronny has more pop than Crosby.

Ronny is a better fielder and hitter than Crosby. Crosby is a Bench guy and I'm not sure if he should even be that.

Is this game a replay of the last 5 interleague games the Pirates have played?

Facing a soft-tossing opposing pitcher, no offense at all.

Pirates starter gives up enough to insure another defeat.

The crowd is snoozing while watching the death march that is the 2010 season continue.

Jeezus effing crimony, I would rather watch the freaking world cup than this shit.

OK, well, 11 in a row. Didja know that last year as of this date they were 31-34 and were only 5-1/2 games out of first place?

I know, I know -- that was an almost completely different cast of characters. But, ah, the memories.

Sigh. Maybe they can salvage one of the three games this weekend vs. Cleveland.

Tonight's game illustrated a quandary for me. Would I rather we get blown out so I can go do something else by 8:30, or would I rather see us "cardiac it up" late so I sit glued to the screen only to be crest fallen when Ryan Church enters the on deck circle.

Hmmmm....

My two boys are still young enough to not understand the implications of being bad over the course of 162 games, they see each game as one distinct event, unrelated to the rest. Everything is relegated to are they doing "good" or "bad"?. After I explained to them that the Pirates were in the midst of a 10 game losing streak, my youngest thought that "wasn't a good thing" before focusing back on the game at hand, here, in the now, no concern what-so-ever about the possibility of it extending to 11 the losing streak. If only I could get myself to approach every game like that.......

Anyhow, if anyone was watching, was that swinging third strike on Church to end the game one of the worst swings you've EVER seen? Or is it just me? I truly hope that the return of Pearce is the end of the Church.

It would be funny if there was a Lucifer on the 40 man roster and got to replace Church on the Major League Club...

Jesus might have a tough time hitting a curve ball, but I bet Satan would hit the Hell out of it...
