Same here. I wish Doumit was healthy and Alvarez was here. I'm just waiting for tonight to get rained out just to piss me off...

Going to be touch and go with the weather I'm afraid. Keep your fingers crossed.

It should hold off until 9. Brad just needs to make quick work.

And Walker with a single right behind him. I don't believe in karma, butt regardless of what happens this inning/game, hopefully that's a sign.

To Lincoln's credit, according to Gameday three of the "balls" in Zimmerman's BB were in the zone.

Early returns on Lincoln:

So-so pitcher. Should bat 5th in the lineup when he starts.

Lincoln was fine.

Nothing more, nothing less. His ERA certainly shouldn't look the way it does though, the Pirates defense struck on some of those runs in the fourth. He gave up a HR to a guy who has hit 300, Strasburg did the same last night to Delywyn Young. Umpiring from the view of Gameday looked inordinately poor all game, as was confirmed in The Pub by some of the guys watching. The "walk" to Zimmerman prior to Dunn's HR showed 3 of those balls in the zone. Furthermore, a couple of the pitches during Lincoln's second AB looked way outside. Those were just a couple of examples.

Tabata is 2-3 so far with a SB and drawing a BB.

LaRoche seems like the odd man out in this one. After Jones drew an 8-pitch walk, he grounds into a DP on the first pitch. This coming on the day that Alvarez was a triple shy of the cycle.

And.... add Tabata to the ranks of the usual bad luck.

Pulled something. Looking for the DL.

Cross your fingers that Tabata is OK. That was quite a debut from him.

Nothing more annoying than sitting amongst a bunch of Nats fans that just became fans last night. Then having your team play like crap to boot. The Pirates official site says "bad bounces," I say good teams make those plays. I am completely frustrated and annoyed after my visit to Nationals park.

Fear not, PF13- we may field like shit, not be able to hit the ball at all, and our pitching is terrible. But look on the bright side. Um. The bright side. Hmm. Our team mustache rate is the highest in all of baseball!

Go Bucs!

They even screwed that up! They all shaved right before the Strasburg game. I'm assuming they knew people were finally going to watch one of their games. Personally, they looked so bad they almost looked good! I'm sad to see them gone.
