Dodgers score 2-0. Game over. Too bad because Karstens will probably pitch a good game.

Waiting for Milledge to provide some offense. Still waiting.

Cutch is down trying to beat out the play at 1B. He is going to stay in the game though. Hope the ankle is ok and doesn't swell up.

Hey ZM what's your problem? I as a long time Pirate fan can be frustrated with this bunch. If you are happy with this team great. I'm not. The only Pirate I like and should wear the Pirate uniform at this point is Cutch. That's how I feel.

Who do you like? Which player(s) are capable of wearing a championship ring on this current team? Which player(s) on this current team could have played on the '60, '71, or '79 Championship teams?

I'll "yap" as much as I want to and you can continue to sit back in a daze and accept mediocrity.

No, I would ask what your problem is. Continually carping on a at bat, by at bat basis. Inning by inning, as if a stranded runner or missed rbi means something in the overall picture.

I am certainly not in a "daze". However, I realize it takes more than 4 AB's to mean something.

ZM

Well, first of all ZM you didn't answer my questions. Also, how much more time do YOU need to know that many of these guys don't have what it takes? Another entire season? If this season is going to be a bust with "experiments" and playing the "young" guys, then bring up Pedro now and some of our other better young prospects. I would rather see us lose with them than with players that have had their chance: LaRoche, Milledge, Duke, Cedeno, Doumit, Iwamura et. al.

Well according to Baseballreference.com the Bucs pythagorean W/L is 5-19 (now 5-20), so I'll take 10-15 at this point.

He was down at the park today and walking fine on it. I don't think it's anything to worry about at this point.

Milledge hit .290 last year for us. He is struggling this year IN LESS THAN 100 AT BATS. So what happens if you call up Tabata and he struggles for his first 100 at bats? Too bad so sad. That's enough to discard him. Next? Starling Marte?

Clement? He has a better minor league track record than any of the people you want to call up. But, his SEVENTY at bats is enough to determine that he is worthless. Get the bum out of here. You're up Pedro- you have 50 ABs before we throw you out. Clement has had his chance  .

Doumit? Only hitting .308 with an OPS over .800. Get the bum out of here and replace him with a young player. Just promote Sanchez from Bradenton already! Do you already have a derogatory nickname picked out for him too?
