We complain about the Pirates' Sunday lineup but wow, the Reds Slineup is terrible. I would bat 5th in that line-up.

I dont know...you're being modest, I'd bat you third...but if Dusty Baker comes up and asks you how your arm and elbow are feeling, keep garlic close by to ward him off...

Here's whats even funnier. That's their everyday lineup with the exception of Rolen who is hurt.

It feels like it's been a while. How about a Pirates win and Cardinals loss?

Bucs manage one hit outside of the 5th inning. Not trying to put a damper on things, but they have to do better than that.

YEAH!

Pretty convincing third win to get the sweep after two down-to-the-wire W's.

Up next is the Brew Crew... who put up 10 in the first vs. the Nats... and Charlie Morton is pitching the first game.

Be that as it may, Bucs are 7-5 and only 1/2 a game out of first (useless stat, but it's great to say!)

Just good to see this team click at any point in the season.

As I keep saying, things can only get better from here.

Starting pitching and bullpen (minus the first game) really came through this series. Granted, this was a Reds line-up that simply isn't very good, and with Rolen injured and Votto not playing the first game.

Still, it was a significant improvement over what we'd seen leading up to it.

Holy cow, even worse, I'd be leading off, and you'd need a calendar to time me in the sixty. :o
