If we lose this game, I'm going to be seriously jacked. I'm watching an endless stream of bad at bats. Meanwhile, Duke doesn't look locked in.

Is there really a slickville? I know a lot of central PA cities but not that one, my dad lives in Mt Pleasant, my relatives are all from Erie and I used to live in USC.

My girlfriend goes to bed at 10 so I'm good till I fall asleep. :)

YEP..Westmoreland County, only about 15 minutes from Mount Pleasant... know MP well. My daughters show stuff at the County fair every year! Slickville was big coal mining town back in the early 1900s..and now just a little small village!

Good hit by Andy there. Great job by Moss being patient at the plate as well.

I was getting pretty mad with some of our guy's at bats earlier. Wayyyyyy too out in front of changeups and off-speed stuff. This freakin' guy is throwing 88 at best. Why are so many guys cheating on the fastball? It almost seem like our advanced scouts or coaches do not do a very good job sometimes.

Vazquez hits a single reaches 2nd on a error and scores LaRoche. 2-2 in the 4th w/ 2 out and Duke puts one out of the hanger but 5 ft foul! Pops out. Still 2-2.

Cool. I like WM County. If I ever moved back it might be there (if she would evah leave Boston). Delallo's in Jeanette and Lou's in Mt Pleasant are great places. Now back to the game.... :)

I like Moss as a player. He is very sound fundamentally IMO and does not get cheated at the plate. If he got his offense together consistently I think he could really be good.

Keep the ball down Zach.....they have you dialed in if you elevate the ball!

Moss looks a bit slow doesn't he? At least running the bases. Of course everyone looks slow now with Cutch on the team.

Wehner is ready to go down to the field and yell at the Pirates to wait on some of this guy's junk. Out in front.....out in front....out in front. Then they stand there and take strike three. Good Lord! Why do the Pirates continuely make bad pitchers look good? I don't understand it.

I continue to blame Don Long. It's almost as if we either have no scouting or no common sense.

WOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO JONES!

Jones goes deep again! 10 Home Runs in July. Only Don Clendenon has done that for the Bucs back in the late 60's.

Keep it going Garrett!!!! I love it. :D

I watch via the MLB TV package. Tonight I have the AZ feed. They can't believe Jones, they said "where has he been?". They are in shock that he could be undiscovered for so long w/ that kind of power. It's true. It's just not normal to come up and be so good after so long in the minors.

If any team deserves a bit of luck it's the Pirates. Hopefully we finally found some lightning in a bottle with Jones. He sure looks good to me!

A late bloomer in full bloom! :)

Upton runs the D-Backs out of the inning by trying to take 2nd on a single w/ a runner at 3rd.

6-2 Bucs end of 5th. Good play by LaRoche and DY on the tag.

Great baseball website called Baseball-Reference.com.

It was 1966 for Donn (2 n's) Clendenon

I forgot that Montreal drafted him in the expansion draft in 1969.

Don't forget that there is still a week left in the month and the Pirates were off 4 days for the break.

Pretty amazing right now!

I'd get the hook. They are hitting Duke hard. I know it's a bit early......but......next run if they score......I would get the hook.
