Why do our pitchers always give up their leads right away. It seems like the inning after a big inning for the bucs, or pitchers hvae a bad one.

Well it's double switch time. In comes Brandon Moss and Jeff Karstens.

Good. DY is absolutely awful in the field which is too bad since he can hit.

Moss comes in? On mlb gameday it says Jeff Salazar is going in?
Anyway he goes 0-3 3k's and Russel must of thought it was time to sit him for the game. I can't imagine that Young is happy about this.

I don't understand why Salazar is in and not Moss. Is Moss injured, because i wouldn't put Salazar in a game unless it was a must.

I think the double switch makes sense game strategy wise so I don't think it has anything to do w/ DYs hitting. However Salazar is a real shocker. Unless they are throwing him a bone since he used to play in AZ this makes no sense at all.

I know Az Bucco fan was going to the game, do you think he flipped out when Morton blew the 3 run lead?

Look I think Salazar needs a chance to play. He has gotten pinchhits but those are not a fair indicator. I think he should get just one start. This may be his last chance anyway though.

Something i noticed. Jeff Salazar doesn't look like he is of Spanish decent at all. Now Oscar Salazar does but Jeff doesn't. Is Jeff of spanish decent? The Salazar name is of spanish origin. Maybe this also means this game is getting boring.

Karstens has been so good but he is just falling apart. Walking the bases full and I don't even want to think about what comes next.

It's crazy how Chris Young has gone from a great 2007 season to a pretty good 2008 season to a terrible 2009 season without injury. He has become horrible.

Donnie Veal walks the first man he faces then he gives up a bomb to Justin Upton. 11-4 D-Backs :(

Well atleast this awful game is over. Pirates lose 11-4. Pirates give up 10 straight runs. 7 runs for our bullpen and 0 for theirs.

Yep, it was.
And Chris Young looks as lost as anyone I have ever seen play the game. He should change his name to Hansel Young. Pathetic, he was getting booed too.
