Jack! Jack! I hope he doesn't get hurt, that's all we need. Also, I hope this rain lets up because we don't need a rain out when we have 4 runs.

Which is further...the distance between 1st and 2nd or the distance you have to run into RF to get around Prince's fat ass?

I thought the Clemente Wall got moved in very close to help Moss out...but realized it was Fielder...

Amen brother! And now, instead of hours, I look at trips as far as how many "stops" I need to make.

Sean Casey on MLB Network is dissing the Pirates for not spending revenue-sharing $$$ to sign top free agents. Also is blaming the front office for the Wilson-Sanchez contract mess exploding into the headlines.

Sigh.

I really thought he was going to be cooling off. It like the pitchers aren't understanding that you can't pitch low to him. If it is high and away he swings and misses alot. I think he will cool off soon though because he will start seeing more pitches up in the zone.

Karstens has really been good in this long relief role. Of course on that note he walks "Mr Big".

Karstens situation kind of reminds me of what is going on with Phil Hughes with the Yankees right now. That also makes me thinks that the Yankees homegrown pitchers end up being better out of the pen than starters. Karstens came from the Yankees, not a very good starter, pretty good out of the pen. Hughes hasn't shown much as a starter, but he is turning into a great set up man. Even Joba, he is a decent starter, but he was lights out as a reliever.

The Fielder-Capps (and infamously, Doumit) incident ... now the Karstens/Braun drama.

Should be some good series' to watch the rest of the year.
