Bob Walk needs to rip him again next inning...I'll take a double for Andy and Jack to drive him in, and Young as a pinch hitter or maybe Jaramillo...

This is either ego or stupidity. A walk here is great because it gets Doumit in scoring position. No way he should be swinging at 3-0. Don't know if that's Russell or Adam, but either way it's dumb baseball.

I agree. I would have been taking with a 3-0 count. But then again, despite the slump, Adam can give us the lead with one swing. Personally, I don't often call any decision wrong, just not something I would do.

Come on Bucs, pull it out in the 9th!

Maybe older brother Adam needs to watch younger brother Andy as to how to draw a walk...

Vazquez in for Jack...

Why is he swinging at the first pitch? Are these guys that stupid? Wilson just walked Andy. He is the only player that matters right now. Get him to second and you can do with another walk. STUPID.

I'm guessing it was the lefty righty matchup...

The lefty/righty thing works when you are putting someone in with a better BA against righties...Vasquez does not fit that mold.

Russell said in the post game conference that Jack's knee was hurting when he lost the ball earlier in the game and took a line drive off of it that went out to the OF after it hit him...

I'd have liked to see Jaramillo get an at bat or 2 here now, since Doumit is back, he has vanished...

I think Ramon is more of a power threat as well.

This is what I don't like about the game of baseball today. Managers don't manage. It seems like everyone has the green light at the plate and on the bases.

In this case you HAVE to give him the take sign. He was 1 for 24 coming in to this at bat. He has got to go. I've seen enough of him. I'd much rather see Jones move in to first and give Moss, Milledge and Young the corner OF at bats.

I thought that was an encouraging outing for Hanrahan today. He pounded the strike zone and seemed to have an idea of where it was going. Good stuff if the command comes around. Didn't look like someone who the league is hitting .346 off of.

Pretty strong considering that he had already hit a home run in this game.
