Mike Hampton
Record: 4-5
ERA: 4.44

STBHOF Image

I will say, if the Pirates come out and get dominated by Hampton and play another miserable flat ballgame after the last game and loss to the Marlins.............my thoughts on JR as manager will be changing....

I know the road will be long and painful, but there is no excuse for a team to look that bad as the Pirates did against the Marlins yesterday.

Just saw that Hampton's record against the Pirates is 3-0 with a 0.90 ERA

That's crazy. Also it should be embarrassing for the Pirates.

I'm almost afraid to watch tonight. This could be aneurysm-inducing.

JR IS A GENIUS! DOESNT BUNT AGAIN AFTER NOT SCORING A SINGLE RUN YESTERDAY, HE STILL FEELS THE PIRATES ARE TOO GOOD TO BUNT AGAINST A PITCHER WHO HAS OWNED THEM!!! THIS IS WHY THEY LOSE BALLGAMES FOLKS.

Well this isn't going so well so far. I thought this minor league lineup would shine against a pitcher we can't ever beat

when you got a lineup out there like that, you have to scrap for runs, oh my bad delwyn young has been proven to hit 3 run homers like pujols votto or berkman, banish the thought of bunting thats just stupid. I forgot this team with Garrett Jones batting 4th and the almighty poweful steve pearce at 1st can put up runs like its nothing...what a joke JR is. honestly, folks wake up and agree with me

Nothing like walking the .230 hitter to load the bases.

It's not rocket science.

Well now we are trying to bunt for hits, but it will be ruled as an error and not i hit i think.
So we still just have 1 hit in the 5th inning.

That fucking preening jackass pisses me off no end.

Mowing down the current Pirates line-up is like beating up a 2-year old. Okay, you did it, but what asshole prances and preens in joy over the accomplishment??
