Question for those watching on tv: on Gameday, for the 4th pitch to Moss, it said "Foul (Runner Going)". Is this true? Why on earth would Vasquez be running in that situation with the winning run standing on 3rd?

He probably wasn't being held on, especially with a left-handed batter and the winning run on 3rd...would have been a catcher's indifference.

First basemen was playing behind him and not holding him on. They were giving him second base. Frankly, I thought that it was stupid for him to not be running on the first pitch. Take away the force at second base. Mets' announcers basically said the same thing.

Second guess time . . . intentionally walk Church???? I'd rather have the next guy beat me than Church. I disagree with that strategy ploy.

Wow i missed this game today because of it not being on TV and i had to go to anger management so i wasn't near a computer. You guys did a good game report the whole way through. It tells alot better of a story than just the stats.

6 walks for Pirate pitches and only 3 K's, that is horrible.
Maholm stunk again.
Chavez was the only Pirate pitcher who really pitched well, but he had to be pulled for the Blob.
I guess Jackson and Meek pitched pretty good also just in the fact that they didn't let any runs cross the plate, but the walks 3 batter combined.

Sad game, but like i have said before Garrett Jones isn't the same player he was a couple years ago for the Twins. I think he has found his place.
