Sounds like a winner to me.

For now.

I saw Garret Jones in Spring Training this year a few times. After each baseball game this guy walked the perimeter of the field and signed autographs for everyone who wanted one until the ballpark was a ghost town.
For a guy that is 6'4 and 245 lbs... I would like to see him get into a baseball tonight...

Why not?

The guy appears to have all the tools. Perhaps all he needs is a chance.

Did Freddy really need to bunt (unsuccessfully) Cutch over to third with no outs in the first?

Through 3 innings and 2-1 bad guys. Virgil is doing pretty well. He really sawed Derek Lee off the 2nd time around which is great to see.

He's better then expected so far.

Thank God the Cubs can't run the bases. :) They ran themselves out of another inning there.

Thanks!

Has Wells thrown any ball above the knees yet?

He's mowing the Pirates down like I remember him doing in the past. Image

Jack should have never been sent home. Rally killer.

One good thing so far, Jones appears to be a fairly fast guy and Hanrahan is looking good also.

Buehler? Buehler? Buehler?

It's 3-1 in the bottom of the 7th. Nyjer Hannrahan is now in the game and he takes care of Derek Lee w/ GAS!

I don't know those might be harder questions than $1000. Those are like the $2000 questions in double jeopardy.

Well the combination of Marmol and Gregg in the 8th and 9th might not be a good thing for us.

Weak game for us. 4-1 Cubs final.

An amazingly unamazing effort by our consistently inconsistent offense. Yawn.
