Soto runs out of the inning at 3rd. Good. Great work by Ohlendorf scoreless through 7.

Grabow hasn't made it easy this season.

Wow.........Jack makes an unbelievable stop at SS but then throws the ball away throwing to 1B. Mr. Grabow has us in a hole with runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs.

Grabow strikes out Soriano. That helps. Hold 'em down Grabow!

And Greg Brown says Grabow picks up Jack Wilson. How? We would have been in better shape had Wilson not made the diving stop.

Wow....talk about picking up his teammate Jack Wilson and his team, Grabow gets the 3rd out with a bouncer to Freddy!

Well done Mr. Grabow, you just earned your keep.

I think it's because in one second Jack made such a great stop, and then the next second he throws the ball away. Jack has been playing very good ball for us. I know he felt like crap after he threw the ball away. Grabow knew it too. It obviously motivated him to shut the Cubs down.

God bless technology. Sitting on the tarmac at OHare with a flat - yes, you read that correctly - tire.

Watching the play by play on MLB.com on my Blackberry and listening to a Peter Gabriel mix on my iPod. Several Cubs fans are on the plane asking for updates. The palpable pain they felt when I reported that the Cubs failed to score in the 8th warmed my heart.

Off to Alabama . . . Looks like I can't "watch" the 9th. GO BUCS! Beat the hated Flubs!!

Maybe I'm being picky, but Jack made a stop most SS wouldn't, therefore he was the one in position to do the picking up. The fact that he made a high throw, a very catchable one at that, to Sanchez only negates a spectacular play. Now had the ball been hit right at him, then I'd be inclined to say Grabow picked him up. Just my opinion and a nit picky one at that.

Nice game well put together all over. Ross was good and we only stranded 7 runners on base today, yesterday we stranded 14 on base. That is the difference, taking advantage of your opportunities.
