What an up and down game for Harden. 7 innings, 9 hits, only 1 run, and 9 K's.
I don't understand how we can only manage 1 run on 9 hits off of Harden.
Again though our bullpen pitches good. Everybody in our bullpen besides Capps has been doing good over the last 4 games or more.

Also, Duke pitched very well. Bradley lifts a pitch off his shoetops for a run. Several of the hits off Duke were weak-ass dribblers. Even then, Duke goes 7 and gives up just 3 runs, walks only 1. He threw a good game.

Oh yeah Duke did pitch good, i was just focusing on the bullpen. I think a lineup change is due soon. We got plenty of hits, but they were scattered out just enough for us not to be able to turn them into runs. I think we left 13 men on base.

well nobody of you is questioning the 6th like i did..

vasquez leads of with a single.. JR led cutch hit, while he is a bit out of rhytm and flies out on a weak at bat, while bunting was a better option i guess.. also couz nyjer was 2 for 2 with 2 sharp singles.. and he singles again.. could have brought vasquez home or worst 1 & 3 with 1 out.. now you have 1&2 and freddy grounds in a double play...

i was a bit pissed off at that moment..

That about says it all right there. How many times have we bitched about our guys taking first pitch hacks against pitchers who walked the previous batter on four straight? AZ was dead on with his assessment of Cutch, he's going to see a lot of offspeed stuff outside the zone until he proves he can lay off of it. If you're feeding him fastballs you are stupid. Adam looked downright silly last night on nothing but off speed stuff. As an aside, what the hell was that pitch that dropped in on lefties that had Adam in fits? To me it looked like some sort of slider, but not in the traditional sense, a slurve maybe? Even Blass was having some trouble identifying it. Whatever it was, it was downright nasty.

Great to see this happen. Another great job by the Mods to add another feature to what is already the best message board around!
