Well today we will get to question why they called up Steve Pearce.

Might we add another to the STBHOF tonight?

Hey, I'm listening to the game on WWWE. First Pirates game I've heard this season.

We still haven't payed our cable bill. I'll take the kid to Dave & Buster's tomorrow night to watch Zach Duke. I'm excited!! For someone who complains about the state of baseball I am eager to see the Pirates on TV.. will be my first time in nearly two years!

The Indians announcers are very good. I've aways enjoyed them. Some points they've brought up so far..

Announcer Tom Hamilton likes PNC Park but wonders why they put the broadcast boothes so high up.

They discussed the string of losing seasons for the Bucs in contrast to the Steelers and Pens. I had no idea our attendance is as poor as it is. I was shocked to learn that PNC Park has had only one year of 2 million attendance, that being the first year.

It was six or seven years ago that the Pirates and Tribe had two fifteen inning games in Pittsburgh, the last time Cleveland has visited the Bucs.

Color man Jim Hegan was baffled why the Pirates were shifting the outfield for Victor Martinez.

He also says Adam La Roche has a strange stance.. standing straight up with no flex in his knees. They pointed out Diaz is hitting fifth when he's walked only once this season. They like Ian Snell.. say he has good stuff.

Lots of foul territory at PNC Park compared to other stadiums.

I'm learning a lot tonight. Twenty four homeruns have bounced into the river (which river is it?) Only Daryle Ward has hit a homer on the fly into the river.

Yeah Pearce misjudged that. How about Grady Sizemore? He hits a triple on the tenth pitch of his at bat. He sure didn't need to play in the minors for rehab.

They just put up a stat that FSN that Snell has allowed the most extra base hits in all of baseball with 45.

Ian stinks. I say this every time he pitches now so it must be true.

He's thrown 42 pitches in this inning and he's still not out of the woods.

We have to turn to the bullpen in the 3rd inning for the 2nd time Ian Snell has started.

4 runs in the inning for the Indians. 4-0 Indians. It would be alot better if we pulled Snell before that last hit and it was only 2-0.

Terrible-- what else can you say. Ian sit down now please. Let the excuses begin.

This guy sucks and we can do nothing. Looking bad.

Snell's final line 2.2 innings pitched, 4 hits, 4 earned runs, 3 walks, and 1K. His season ERA goes up to 5.36.

Why do we have twelve pitchers on the roster? That's ridiculous. Karstens should not have been leading off the bottom of the 3rd inning if Russell's plan was to use him for only one more inning. Was there any other alternative for JR? I would have benched Pearce, place Zach Duke in right field while Meek or somebody faced Peralta in the top of the third (with two out.) Then Zach could lead off in the 9 hole and we use Karstens or Burnett to eat up innings. He he!

Seriously if we use all of our bull pen tonight Zach can exceed the mandatory 100 pitch garbage tomorrow night. I'm now predicting a shutout performance for Zach tomorrow and an All-Star game appearance for him as well! You heard it here. Then Cliff Lee will pitch a one-hitter in the rubber game.

Somethig had to be wrong. He hit and everything. He was pitching lights out also. I thought on a grounder i noticed him grab him arm like it was getting stiff on him, but it could have just been him stretching. I hope they give us something about that after the game.

Neverett just called a home run call for Cutch that was caught at the wall. The previous comments about him are dead-on. Horrible call. I thought it was 4-3.
